of one day becoming a field officer herself, Judith enrolled in and attended the police academy at Seminole Community College. In the years following, Judith rose to the position of squad leader in dispatch while simultaneously serving as an auxiliary deputy volunteer. After 10 years on the force she became a full time deputy and field officer on road patrol dealing with many different types of crimes while keeping Central Florida safe. In addition to her other duties, during her tenure as a Sheriff, Judith volunteered her time to D.A.R.E., drug abuse resistance education. She taught children from preschool through fifth-grade level that police officers are not only community servants who are there to help and protect them, but are human beings with their own unique families and interests.
While working full time as a Sheriff, Judith enrolled in Columbia College, Orlando, Florida part time where she received her bachelor’s degree. Upon graduation from Columbia she enrolled part time at Barry University School of Law also in Orlando, Florida. After receiving her Juris Doctorate Degree from Barry, Judith left the Sheriff's Department and pursued a career in law. She began her law career as a prosecuting attorney with the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida under the direction of Lawson Lamar. In 2009, Judith went into independent practice and then joined the KM Jackson Law Firm, PA as a Family and Criminal Law Counsel.
