Shortly thereafter Lisa married Drew Lye, a Realtor from Orlando, Florida. In order to include all of her relatives in their celebration, she and Drew traveled back to Sicily for their wedding. It was Lisa’s wish and dream to be married in the church where she was baptized, the Santa Fara Cathedral Church in the city of Cinisi.

As for her special interests, Lisa is a huge martial arts fan and holds two black belts. Between the ages of 12 and 17 she learned and competed in traditional Japanese style of Shorinji-Ryu and won many state and national competitions in weapons, forms, and sparring. One day she would like to star in a martial arts movie and eventually own her own martial arts dojo (school).
